Sunday, August 26, 2012. The First Annual Astoria Craft Party Inspires Creativity. The first annual Astoria Craft Party was held Friday August 24th in the Fort George Lovell Building. A steady stream of party participants hammered, glued, painted and assembled, crafting new treasures from salvaged housing materials, recovered pallets, and myriad other raw materials recycled and ready for reuse. Astoria inspired repurposed stenciled pallet art, from Maison de Stencils. Was a huge hit among party goers.
